この大学院生は2019年に中国で行われた学会においてポスター発表をしました。

　私は中国で開催された国際会議でのポスター発表のためにELSCを活用しました。

ELSCでは発表用のポスターの添削及び発表練習のマンツーマン指導をしてもらいました。

発表練習では、発音や言い回しをはじめとして、質問を想定した応答の練習、

様々な訪問者パターンに対応した発表時の振る舞い方のアドバイスを受けました。

例えば、ポスターを見に来た人に対してどのように声をかけるかアドバイスを受けました。

これらのアドバイスのおかげでポスター発表を見に来てくれた参加者に対してストレスなく声をかけることができ、

他国の参加者からの質問にもELCで練習した言い回しを用いながら応答することができました。

ELSCでの指導のおかげでアクティブな発表ができただけでなく、特に質問の回答練習は

英語で質問されることへの不安感を払拭してくれ、とても有効でした。

ひとりで準備するよりもELCを活用することで効率よく準備ができるので私はELSCの活用をお勧めします。

This graduate student gave a poster presentation at an academic conference held in China in 2019.

I used the ELSC for poster presentation at an international conference held in China.

At the ELSC, they helped me to correct the posters for presentations and provide one-on-one guidance for presentation practice.

In the presentation practice, I practiced responding to possible questions, including pronunciation and wording.

I received advice on how to compose myself at the time of the presentation corresponding to various visitor patterns.

For example, I was advised on how to reach out to people who came to see the poster.

Thanks to the advice, I was able to reach out to the participants who came to see the poster presentation without stress.

I was able to respond to questions from participants from other countries using the phrases I practiced at the ELSC.

Not only was I able to make active presentations thanks to the guidance at the ELSC, but especially the practice of answering questions.

It was very effective because it dispelled my anxiety about being asked questions in English.

I recommend using the ELSC because you can prepare more efficiently by using the ELSC rather than preparing by yourself.
